Dan Kegley receives 2025 Ty Wick Award
The Spokane Aquifer Joint Board (SAJB) is proud to announce that Dan Kegley was selected to receive the 2025 Ty Wick Award.
Dan has continuously demonstrated his commitment to the protection of the Spokane Valley-Rathdrum Prairie aquifer throughout his personal and professional involvement in SAJB, IWAC, Inland Empire Sub Section- AWWA, Pacific Northwest Section AWWA, as well as other educational committees and involvements. This person has continued their selfless commitment to our regional sole-source aquifer, far beyond retirement.
In addition, Dan was among the founding members of IWAC, served as the President, and is the current Past-President. Dan has received prestigious awards from the PNWS-AWWA and National AWWA, recognizing his extraordinary and distinguished services. Dan is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Washington State Department of Health – Office of Drinking Water. Those awards stand as a testament to Dan’s dedication to providing safe and reliable drinking water to the entire community.
Dan is a true visionary who we all have learned a lot from. Dan exemplifies everything the Ty Wick Award is intended to represent, and SAJB is honored to celebrate Dan in this way.
