IWAC Goals – Executive Committee Report

 New Business  

Guest Speakers – Dale Ralston and John Porcello – Hydrogeology: Ground Water Pumping and River Flows. Dale and John will present the information they shared at the Spokane River forum Conference in November. There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion of their research results for the bi-state numerical model, the impacts of ground-water pumping on the Spokane River, the hydraulics of the river/aquifer system and related spreadsheet tools.

 Request for IWAC Letter of Support – Jim Ekins, Area Water Educator, UI Extension, Northern District, is writing a Grant Proposal for Stormwater/Clean River Interpretive Trail. The idea is to add educational value and some native riparian plants to some existing and upcoming CdA City parks projects, and to connect with other similar initiatives in and around Spokane, including Gonzaga University via the Centennial Trail.
