- Program Leader Report – Julia McHugh
- Emergency response / dispatch – renew means of notifying Water Purveyors
- Initiative 769, Clean Water Investment Act for construction of drinking water projects, sewage and storm water treatment, reduce irrig. water usage, curb discharge of sediments, pesticides, fertilizer; purchase ag. land shoreline easements to protect fish habitat, and purchase water rights – citizen’s initiative by former Dept. Director of Ecology, calls for authorization of $1 billion over 8 years through state bonds.
- RSVP Program Volunteer Recognition – SAJB Certifs. of Appreciation presented 4/21 by Gail Gibson, Vera
- SAJB Booth – Earth Day 4/22, Riverfront Park. BIG Thanks to Volunteers: Brad Blegen, Walt McKee, Kathy Small (w/ moral support from hubby Dick) and Jean Koegan from RSVP, and to County WQMP for placemaps & Groundwater CDs, City Water for hundreds of ‘The Story of Drinking Water’, and Vera for the use of their model. KDK-1 present to film for 2 hours for future education efforts.
- Local Senior Environmental Corps – organization taking shape, great source of highly skilled, experienced citizens for variety of projects.
- Ice Age Floods Interpretarium – update
