- Aquifer Atlas – free copies available to all; suggest one copy to your local library branch
- GIS Demo Re-run – County willing to hold another demo @ Public Works Bldg. – Bring your consulting engineer or other staff – call Julia with available dates and times
- Copies of educational materials from County WQMP program available
- County Wastewater Facility Planning – Treatment Alternatives – Input suggestions for EIS Scoping ends Oct. 12th; anticipate 18 months following for public meetings, project newsletters, stakeholder forums, community group presentations and public hearings. Two alternatives of particular note: 1)Underground storage of treated and reclaimed wastewater for subsequent use for irrigation or release to streams for flow augmentation during critical low-flow periods. 2) Recharge of the Spokane Aquifer with treated wastewater effluent, with the co-mingled water being available for all uses including potable water supplies.
