The 15th Annual IESS-AWWA Service Truck Rodeo was filled with great classes, and competitions like Meter Madness, Best Tasting Water, Fire Hydrant Frenzy and Tapping.
The 14th Annual Service Truck Rodeo was held at Centerplace Event Center in Spokane Valley. Events included: Best Tasting Water, Tapping competition, Best Water leak photo, lots of vendors and more.

The Spokane Aquifer Joint Board is recognized by the American Water Works Association as the 2014 Exemplary Source Water Protection Award recipient in the ‘Very Large/Mixed System’ category. Awards will be given on June 6, 2014 at the annual Conference in Boston Mass.
The Service Truck Rodeo brings regional water providers together to learn about the latest technology and showcase their trucks. Events like meter madness, best tasting water and last operator standing are just a few of the activities that made it a fun day for everyone.
The Spokane Aquifer Joint Board has submitted a report to the American Water Works Association (AWWA) detailing our exemplary aquifer protection program. Recepients of this national award will be notified in late March and the awards will be presented at the annual AWWA Convention June 6-8, 2014 in Boston.
